The third consolation game of the FBU National Championship, was held between 8th Grade Maryland and 8th grade Las Vegas.

Running back Antwain Littleton quickly got Maryland on the board with a long run to go up 7-0 with less than a minute taken off the clock in the game.

On their next possession and just three minutes later, running back MarShawn Lloyd ran in a touchdown of his own to take Maryland to 14-0 over Las Vegas.

Las Vegas quarterback Donovan Smith connected with wide receiver Skyler Ngo for a 35-yard reception.  Runing back Michael Lofton Jr ran it in three plays later to put Las Vegas on the board, 14-7.

On their next drive Las Vegas QB Donovan Smith led a nice drive that was capped off by a 18-yard touchdown run by running back Zavien Ragsdale, to tie the game at 14-14.

On the next drive, Maryland RB Littleton coughed it up and Las Vegas recovered with 7:56 left in the 2nd quarter, however Maryland CB TaRon Riddick returned the favor with an interception to get Maryland the ball back.  On the next play Maryland running back Antwain Littleton made up for his earlier miscue and took the ball to the house on a 63-yard TD run, to put Maryland up 21-14.

Midway through the 3rd quarter Las Vegas's wide receiver Skyler Ngo caught a TD pass from QB Donovan Smith to tie up the game, 21-21.  Maryland had a quick counter as Antwain Littleton had his third touchdown of the day to put them up 27-21 over Las Vegas.

Las Vegas countered with a long drive of their own that ended in a Maurice Hampton TD reception to put Las Vegas up 28-27 at the end of the third quarter.  However Antwain Littleton answered right back with a 62-yard touchdown run on the very next play for his fourth TD of the game to put Maryland up 35-28.

Littleton was not done yet though as he added a fifth touchdown soon after to add to the lead, and then a 6th touchdown to put the game out of reach at 48-28 with 3:34 remaining.  Luke Hill added a pick-six for Maryland to make the final score 55-28.  Maryland made a statement to earn their 3rd place finish this year.
